We are a reputable cab service provider in St. John’s, Newfoundland, and we have jobs opening for  Vehicle Dispatchers to join our team. As a dispatcher, your job   responsibility is  for ensuring that our fleet of cabs is efficiently dispatched to pick up and drop off our customers across the city.

Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently dispatching our cabs to pick up and drop off customers across the city.
  • Communicating with drivers and customers to ensure timely and accurate pick-ups and drop-offs.
  • Monitoring traffic and weather conditions to ensure that our drivers take the most efficient route possible.
  • Managing the scheduling and rotation of our vehicles to maximize their usage and minimize downtime.
  • Assisting with customer service inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working as a vehicle dispatcher or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of the St. John’s area and its traffic patterns.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
